Betty White to host new NBC reality show

LOS ANGELES (AP) Betty White is adding a new NBC hidden-camera reality series to her resume.
NBC said Thursday that it has ordered 12 episodes of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers," the working title for a series about senior citizens who band together to play pranks on younger people.
White will host the series, which is based on a hit Belgian show that has been produced in other European countries.
In a statement, the 89-year-old actress joked that people have been telling her she's off her rocker for years, and now she has a chance to prove it.
White has a track record at NBC. She starred in the network's hit sitcom "The Golden Girls" for seven seasons and won an Emmy last year for her "Saturday Night Live" appearance.
