The low temperature in Pueblo this morning plummeted to 23 degrees, breaking the previous record low temperature of 24 degrees from 2008. The amazing fact with the low this morning is that it is the coldest reading ever recorded in Pueblo this late in the month of May. The old record was 23 degrees set back on May 1st, 1909!!!!
One thing to note about this record...temps at the Pueblo Airport, where this reading was taken, are almost always much colder compared to readings in town. By comparison....temperatures in downtown Pueblo and Pueblo West were closer to 30 degrees this morning.
