A Pueblo woman is sharing her story with News First 5, after being nearly abducted by a man hiding in her van.

It happened August 4th at the Pueblo Board of Water Works office at 5th and Grand Ave.

Police say the woman didn't notice the man in her mini-van when she pulled out of the parking lot. She heard a noise inside, turned around and saw the man climbing over the seats coming toward her. The 24 year old jumped out of the van while it was in gear. The van, with the man inside, crashed into a tree at 1st and Union.

The suspect ran from the scene.

Police say he was driving a 2004 Toyota Solara with a dark colored glass sunroof. He was caught on security camera getting into the van.

He's described as a white man 5'7" to 5'10" tall with dirty, short sandy blond hair. He has a pronounced receding hair line and weighs between 150 and 180 pounds.

He was wearing a dark colored long sleeved button-up shirt and dark colored pants.

The victim tells our Carolyn Carver she's been having nightmares since the incident and has been unable to work or drive. Hear her complete story tonight at ten on News First 5.
