The cold weather continues Sunday

Cold weather will be the story over the next few days here in southern Colorado. Sunshine is expected across most of the area on this Sunday. The only part of our region not seeing all sun will be areas along the Continental Divide where some light snow shower activity is possible today. A very weak piece of energy will move through the state later Monday into Tuesday bringing back the chance for a few snow showers. This system will also provide a reinforcing shot of some cold air to the region. Temperatures by weeks end will begin to slowly warm back into the 40s.
