Zoo announces Cheerios drive

Saving money on family fun this weekend can be as easy as a trip to the cereal cabinet. The Pueblo Zoo is offering half-priced admission on Saturday and Sunday, August 20-21 to each person who brings a new box of Cheerios with them.
They're calling it Cheerio Weekend and the donated food will be given to the Care and Share Food Bank. Admission with a box of Cheerios is as follow:
- Adults $4
- Senior, Military and Kids age 13-17 $3.50
- Under age 13 $2.50
The Pueblo Zoo is open from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily each day during the summer and is located at 3455 Nuckolls Avenue inside the Pueblo City Park.
